The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO is NOT manufactured, is NOT made, but it’s GROWN like a child!
It is with this philosophy that at Acetaia del Cristo since four generation, we grow the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO according to the ancient family tradition handed down by our ancestors.
More than 2000 precious wood barrels, BIO vineyard, devotion and attention to every step of the production, from the harvesting to the cooking without forget the delicate topping up operations.
Acetaia del Cristo offers the possibility of doing Guided Tours by reservation through a complete sensorial itinerary of the farm during which you will discover the history, the production secrets and above all, the passion that helped create a culinary heritage appreciated all over the world.
The tour is followed by a guided tasting of our exclusive Balsamic vinegars with single wood ageings that give unique flavors and aromas.(Cherry, Mulberry, Juniper, Oak and Chestnut).
Some curiosity: The Very First Giugiaro’s Design cruet for the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar, the seal Nr. 00001 and the “Celebrity Room” where we guard the batteries of the VIP who share their Balsamic Passion with us like Michael Douglas, Ornella Muti, Phil Hill the first USA Champion on a Ferrari and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
